15 years in business - M3SM

M3 Strategic Marketing Ltd are celebrating 15 years in business. That makes us older than YouTube, which was founded 14 years ago in 2006!

In fact M3 are older than Google Chrome (created in 2008), and also have seen the creation and demise of Google + (remember that?).

Google Maps, a trusted and well used brand was created and launched in the same year as our very own business.

In our business lifetime, we have seen many things come and go in the Digital Marketing space, but we have stayed strong and continue to support our clients, and evolve their marketing to keep up with the latest trends.

What about M3s’ history?

We started in 2005 as a small two-man business working from home, after extensive training in Canada to become Digital Marketing (or Internet Marketing as it was then known) consultants. We joined the WSI franchise, which at that time had a decent presence in the UK, and we were proud to be WSI Consultants.

In the first 5 years we started to make a name for ourselves locally, but also within the franchise, and we were soon on stage speaking at WSI events about the successes we had.

This lead to other Internet Consultants asking us for advice, training and then the implementation of services. Which in turn lead to us becoming a UK production centre for the franchise. This meant that the consultants could use us to provide their clients services, where they did not have the skillset.

As you can imagine, after 10 years of being a source of knowledge within the franchise, and also winning awards for customer service, we decided to progress our own business without the franchise.

It was very soon afterward that Google approached us to become a Google Partner, and we have been working directly with them ever since. This affords us even more training, insider knowledge and access to tools and Betas that others do not have.

Within the last five years or so, the company has grown and expanded, but continue to have most of our initial client base, as we work hard to deliver the excellent service that they have all come to expect from us.

We now have a branch in the Manchester area, run by Nick and Mandy, and we have a team of people working here at our offices in Moulton Park, Northampton.

What next for M3SM?

We are always looking forward, whilst learning from the past, and we are continuing to evolve and refine our excellent customer service levels, and quality of work produced.

We keep a record of all our calls into the business, and from that we can determine where our weaknesses may be, and put procedures into place to resolve, which in turn eliminates calls, making us all far more efficient.

This care and attention to detail can be seen across everything we do, and this level of transparency means that all our staff are kept up to date with everything that is going on for each client, at a glance. Meaning that our clients can happily talk to anyone about any project they may have with us and be sure of best attention at all times.

We are always looking to improve, and any feedback is welcomed, and we actively encourage reviews and meetings, both with our direct clients, and with other Internet Consultants and Agencies across the UK, who trust us implicitly and use our services for their clients.

Digital Marketing Plan

When any new year comes around, it is right and proper that you reflect on what has gone and look forward to the future, and moving into this new decade should be no different.

Applying what we do personally to your business, again should be no different, and so a Digital Marketing Plan should be considered.

Analytical Review of 2019

To determine your plan, first we need to reflect, and so a detailed review of what you did in 2019 and what worked, and what did not should be at the top of your list of things to do before you start planning for 2020.

Having goals set for your business is standard for any company. Increase in sales, increase in revenue, increase in profits etc. These goals need to be measured. How will you get there?

When someone completes and online form, clicks to call or email, these are potential leads, and should be measured within Google Analytics. Understanding how we received these form fills, calls and emails tells us what has worked, and associating a cost per lead (CPA or Cost Per Acquisition) we can then determine a return on Investment (ROI).

Working out what has given us the best ROI means we can do more of this in 2020, and is considered a priority in your 2020 plan.
